Utah/Idaho Kiwanis

The Utah-Idaho District of Kiwanis International was established in 1918, just three years after Kiwanis itself was founded, making it one of the earliest districts in the organization’s history. Since then, Kiwanians across Utah and Idaho have united in a shared mission to serve the children of the world—beginning in their own communities. Through more than a century of service, the district’s clubs have supported countless youth programs, built playgrounds, sponsored leadership initiatives like Key Club and Circle K, and responded to local and global needs with compassion and action. Today, the Utah-Idaho District continues to build on its proud legacy, empowering volunteers to create lasting, positive change in the lives of children and families throughout the Intermountain West. As of October 2025, the district is comprised of 45 clubs, with 906 total members. Our oldest club (Salt Lake City) was chartered in 1918, and there are 12 other clubs in the district over 100 years old. Our 2 newest clubs were chartered in 2025 in Cedar City and South Jordan Utah. the Utah-Idaho District continues to build on its proud legacy, empowering volunteers to create lasting, positive change in the lives of children and families throughout Utah and Idaho.
